website

I really enjoyed creating the web page for this class.  I had fun looking back at all the projects I'd done, and it's also nice to be able to put other things I created while in the class somewhere where I can always go back and look at them.  I had fun designing this page, but I also had a hard time perfecting it, there was always another thing wrong.  There still are things I could fix... I'm not going to tell you what they are though! Check it out HERE!

reaching out

I made this to turn into UT as a part of a contest.  The point was to make a t-shirt design that is original that they can sell in the co-op stores.  This was a very easy thing to do, but it was really hard to find the right photos online.  Even most public domain picture sites won't let you redistribute after you use their pics, and if I found one that did it wouldn't have a longhorn picture... I finally found one after two days of searching and promptly forgot the address. oh well.
This was my last project in this class and now I have to go spend all of my time in english... It sucks but I guess it's the right thing to do because I have quite a bit of english left and no time to do it...

Making Brushes

This doesn't look like much, mostly because it isn't. It was a very easy but also very important thing to learn to do. I learned how to make one of something and make it a brush, and how to change the size and angle it makes. In the tutorial we made bubbles, in my original I made raindrops. I don't have anything else to say really... I may be on my last project now which makes me sad :(:(.

Invisible People

This project started out pretty horribly just because I wasn't interested in the picture the tutorial was doing, so it seemed like too much work. Once I started thinking of my own ideas and working on my own picture it became much more fun. I think this ended up pretty good -- although I think the skirt could've been better. I tried to make it look crunched up, which didn't really work out. Another thing I would know to find for next time is find people with more clothing on, because it looks cooler that way. Overall I enjoyed creating this picture.

Covered in Paint

I learned how to do some pretty important things while doing this project, but I didn't really enjoy it. First of all I think there are better ways to cover something in paint, then changing the color of the animal. I'm not happy with the "finished product", I think it looks really fake and there's not much else I can do about it. I think this would've worked better if I had chosen a different color paint or maybe tried honey. Knowing everyone else that has done this project has had trouble with it eases my mind, but only slightly. I'm not even really happy with the tutorial's picture; this project was doomed to fail from the start.
